I will tell you right now, It’s my most favorite smoothie of all time. ALL TIME. Take or leave the toppings, but for the love of god, take the smoothie!
Spirulina Mint Smoothie
- 1 banana
- 1 scoop of pea vanilla (or chocolate) protein powder
- 1 T spirulina
- 2 – 3 drops of peppermint essential oil
- 2 C almond/coconut milk (unsweetened)
- stevia (2 packets)
- lime zest
- coconut flakes
- hemp seeds
- shaved green apple
Blend all ingredients on high. Add toppings and enjoy!
Tip: Spirulina is great for dogs as well! Once I blend the base of this shake, I spoon a little bit into a small dish for both Nyah and Polo – They love it!!
