Bittersweet.
Letting go of a chapter that has opened up so many doors, in pursuit of growing into another chapter with many more opportunities.
As you may notice, the Rawxy blog (well, the name) no longer exist. Gone. Done. Bye.
It was a hard part, but like I stated above, I know it’s for the best. See, the thing is, is that I’m no longer the person I was when I started Rawxy. I’m no longer working a 9-5 where I have all of the time in the world to plan recipes and photograph. Nope, that’s not my life anymore – at all. While I’m still passionate about whole foods, I’m much more focused on bringing that passion to the masses – I.e., I now own a business. I’ve found that over the past year, my joy for writing is more centered around a variety of topics – business, art and food. Unfortunately, the rawxy.com stigma at times was making me feel like I was stuck in a box and unable to express myself fully.
Moving forward, I have decided that the focus will be on the Rawxies brand and myself as the creator and owner. This is what it’s like to be a women in business. This is what it’s like to own a start up. This is what it’s like to juggle late night cocktails and early morning green smoothies. This is what it’s like to build out a manufacturing plant. This is what’s is like to deal with China in the wee hours of the morning. This is what it’s like to find balance between work and family. Etc, Etc, Etc… This is my life. My hopes are that in this new chapter, I can inspire other people to live their dreams, to work their ass off in going against the 8-5, and of course, to eat a whole hell of a lot healthier along the way.

As a rawxies side note – we are scheduled to receive our roll film today. Which means, we should be running our first production in our new facility this weekend. Hollaaa!
